Get Involved in VGIF

The work of the Virginia Gildersleeve International Fund is conducted primarily by volunteer committees and the VGIF Board of Directors. VGIF Board and committee members donate their services to the organization with no recompense for time, travel or expenses incurred in the operation of their respective committees. VGIF maintains a small office in New York City that is funded by a generous endowment from one our members. This endowment also pays for the services of our Executive Director and other staff..

Committees and Board meet biannually in October and April in New York City to conduct the business of the organization. All contributing and prospective members are invited to attend. Talk about VGIF to friends, family, church groups, professional groups
Help further the work of VGIF by talking about our organization to family, friends, other organizations, a church group, or a professional group. VGIF provides presentation materials in the form of digital slides shows, photos, brochures, newsletters, flyers, and posters. If you want to talk about VGIF and need some information please contact the VGIF office.

Be an International Funds Collector
If you would like to collect local funds in your country on behalf of VGIF, please contact the VGIF office.

Do an An On-Site Visit
Visits by VGIF contributors, friends, and colleagues to project grant sites during personal travels provide valuable insight into the accomplishments of our grant recipients. >> learn more
